Dr. Fryhofer will answer questions about the vaccines, addressing practical concerns and next steps while taking a look at where the pandemic may be heading in the coming months.

Dr. Sandra Fryhofer maintains a full-time internal medicine practice based in Atlanta while also currently serving as Trustee of the American Medical Association (AMA) and a former President of the American College of Physicians. For years, she has served as the AMA liaison to the Center for Disease Control’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) focused on a range of vaccines including her current effort with the COVID-19 Vaccine Workgroup. She will be our first speaker in 2021 talking about The COVID Vaccine: What You Need To Know. Sandra has extensive experience in medical communications including testifying before Congress and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as well as previously being a medical correspondent for CNN Headline News.
