Peek is a Founding Partner and Senior Wealth Advisor sharing time in our Nashville, Tennessee and Lexington, Kentucky offices. Peek served on Edge Capital’s Board of Directors and is focused on serving and growing our significant Family Office and Philanthropic clients globally. He shares best practices and insights using over 35 years of financial industry experience in Insurance, Fixed Income, Equity, and Real Estate capital markets. In 2007 Peek opened the doors of our firm’s Lexington office and in 2017 he started Edge Capital’s Nashville presence.
Prior to co-founding Edge, Peek held executive positions with The Garlington Group, Lehman Brothers and Credit Suisse. A Georgia native, he graduated from Georgia State University and has earned professional designations as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM).
Peek gives back to the community in many ways. He is a co-founder of FACT Relief Foundation which supports families of people battling debilitating diseases and other catastrophic life events. He serves on the Board of Trustees for the Bluegrass Land Conservancy and as a Commissioner on the Paris Pike Corridor Commission in Kentucky. Peek is a former member of the Board of Trustees of The Sayre School and serves as an honorary Trustee of the Turner Foundation.
An avid outdoorsman and conservationist, he is involved in several wildlife and fishing conservation efforts across the world. He has taken his love of fly fishing to competitive levels by winning the 1997 Golden Fly Tarpon Tournament and as a team winner in the 2013 Jackson Hole One Fly Tournament. Peek is also a waterfowler, wing shooter, bow hunter, and golfer.
Peek and his wife, Jennie have six children and live on their farm with horses, dogs, and a variety of other animals.
