Analyst

The applicant should have keen attention to detail and demonstrated academic achievement, specifically in economics, business, investments, and accounting. Candidates with an investment-related work history in wealth management or financial services will be preferred.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operations Support:

Sarbanes Oxley Quarterly Processes – Account Reviews, Security Price Verification
Alternative Investments Valuation Reviews
Build and maintain client profiles in the portfolio management system and CRM.
Data quality assurance in the portfolio management system (new account settings, new relationship settings, closed account settings).
Data quality assurance in CRM.
Data maintenance and audit in CRM.
Monthly quality assurance checkpoints.
Maintain Operational Portfolio Groups – Billing, Reporting, PM Weekly.

Client Services Support:

Centralize Account Duplication and Journals for existing clients.
Verbal wire authorizations.
Centralize capital call wire processing and connect money movement reporting/tracking.
Prepare and roll out subscription documents for new private equity holdings.
Submit and track subscription documents. Liaise with private fund investor relations.
Process Check Deposits.
Monitor and disseminate custodian account alerts.

Portfolio Manager Support:

Redblack Account Set Up and Maintenance.
Security Classifications.
IPS and Adherence – Client Risk Profile.
Partner with Marketing on RFP and proposal generation for new and prospective clients.
Trade Reconciliation in Redblack.
Alternative Investment Collaboration and Communication – Tracking Indications of Interest vs. Confirmed Subscriptions Requests, Communicating with Issuer and Strategy Team, Team Questions on Subscription Documents.

Research and Due Diligence Support:

Work with the Strategy team to develop a repeatable process for manager due diligence and onboarding.
Own implementation of parts of that new process.
Utilize tools such as Morningstar, Bloomberg, and Factset to contribute research insights and data to the due diligence process.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Planning, Business
Previous experience in a comparable role

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Advanced experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience with Advent Black Diamond or other performance reporting systems
Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce)
