Edge Capital Group Places an All-Time High of Five on the Forbes 2022 Best-In-State List

FORBES Best-In-State Wealth Advisors 2022

.

Forbes recognized five Edge advisors in its 2022 Best-In-State list, the highest number of Edge advisors to make the magazine’s annual state rankings. Our advisors made top honors on the following lists: Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee.  Making their Best-In-State list debut from Edge were Bert Rayle, Kendrick Mattox, and Peek Garlington. Both Will Skeean and Harry Jones had made the list in previous years.  Edge Capital is honored to work with these advisors in their diligent efforts to provide the highest level of service to help clients define and pursue their financial goals.

“It is an honor to receive the prestigious Forbes Best-In-State award, which will be shared with our team as it really is a team effort. We have been blessed to work with some of the nicest families in Texas, and we know they have a choice of who they work with. Our independent and fee-only business model resonates with our clients,” said Bert Rayle, upon learning the news of his placement on the Forbes list.

“While I am honored to be selected to the Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisor list again, I am most proud of the entire Edge Capital team, which guides our clients through these volatile markets and proactively addresses their complex tax and estate planning needs. We have a culture of teamwork and innovation with nearly 40 talented professionals – most with advanced degrees, certifications, and experience working with the unique needs of entrepreneurs and multigenerational clients in a high-quality way. Very few firms of our size can say they have five advisors selected to the Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisor list. Congratulations to Bert, Kendrick, Peek, and Will for their recognition. This follows Elizabeth Mackie being named to the Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisors list, resulting in six Edge Capital advisors being recognized in 2022,” said Managing Partner Harry Jones.

This yearly list spotlights the nation’s top-performing advisors, evaluated based on a methodology developed by SHOOK Research. The wealth advisors on the list manage more than $10 trillion in client assets. Forbes receives almost 35,000 nominations, with only 19,640 advisors being asked to proceed to the interview and only 6,500, making the list.

The Forbes ranking developed by SHOOK Research is based on an algorithm using qualitative data gained through surveys and interviews conducted in person, by telephone, and virtually to evaluate best practices, level of service, investing process, and compliance records. SHOOK also evaluates quantitative data such as revenue trends and assets under management. For more information about that methodology, click here.
