Barrett serves as Edge Capital’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, charged with bringing energy and action to everything from talent management to the integration of new technologies. In this role, Barrett brings clarity and focus to Edge’s overarching firm strategy.
A graduate of Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, he was a Captain and point guard on the men’s basketball team. Barrett earned an Executive Master in Business Administration (EMBA) from the Michael J. Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University.
Prior to joining our firm, Barrett held leadership positions with Courtroom Connect, a professional services company that invests in technology solutions and platforms that transform the way attorneys prepare for, participate in, and learn from litigation.
A Florida native, Barrett met his wife, Heather while attending Oglethorpe, where she was a standout on the women’s basketball team. Heather is the Assistant Head of School at Whitefield Academy in Atlanta. Barrett and Heather have two daughters, Ava and Aubry, and two Labrador sisters, Sadie and Jordan.
