In 2014, Jimmy joined Edge as a Partner and Senior Wealth Advisor. In his role, he serves the unique investment and financial planning needs of his private and institutional clients and guides the strategic direction of the firm. He builds enduring relationships and believes a willingness to listen is paramount for the success of an advisor as he develops and implements creative solutions for the specific circumstances of each client.
Within his twenty plus years of serving as a Senior Wealth Advisor, Jimmy has worked with several reputable investment firms including Lehman Brothers, Credit Suisse and Morgan Creek Capital Management.
A graduate of the Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia, he received his Bachelor of Science degree and MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Born and raised in Hickory, his North Carolina roots run deep.
Jimmy serves on the UNC Board of Libraries at UNC Chapel Hill and is an active volunteer for the Chapel of the Cross and the Ronald McDonald House –an organization that provides housing and other support for families of children with serious illness. Recently Jimmy has begun volunteering as a student advisor for the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School’s Leadership in Action program.
Outside of the office, Jimmy enjoys deep-sea fishing and spending time with his wife, Deanna, and son, JT.
